Pastor will retain rights to home bible classes

You heard it here first! The San Diego Pastor warned by the County to stop having bible studies at his home, will win his appeal to the county. My wife and I have just heard him relate that information to a small group of friends this evening.

Looks like the government is backing off of its claim that the local home bible studies must apply for a very expensive Land Use Permit. It was obvious from the beginning, the government could not abuse his rights to a religious meeting in his home. The real question was not his prevailing but how did the government ever assume such power?

Do we live in a country were even official legal entities can consider their power so complete they can decide how a person entertain and associate in his own home. Should there not be a price to pay for dragging this citizen through so much turmoil? Where are the resignations? Where is the public outrage? The coming settlement may just be the governments attempt to let this die. Maybe they just do not want such a pubic display of there attitude towards freedom. Will you allow them to get away with it?
